Avoiding the salon for simple hairstyles

Save that 50,or 60 dollars for a rainy day.A lot of the hairstyles that your hairdresser does, you can do them yourself. Unless cutting is involved. You can wash and condition your hair at home, sometimes with the same products.

You can ask what products is used, and go to a beauty supply store like Sally's,and get the same products if  they have it.Most all of the professional products come in lager containers, which cost a little more, but will last a long time.

Do a comparison on the smaller size vs the larger,to see which comes out the cheapest as far as ounces. You can also get any kind of serum's that works best for your hair. For the hair styles, if you have a favorite, ask the hair dresser to show you how he or she styles your hair, so you can style your hair at home just in case you can't make it in to an appointment.
If you need some ideas,I have several easy hairstyles on my website at  http://www.cutehaircreations.com/ that you can do at home.Pick a style you like and practice. No one will never know that you styled your hair yourself. Now you just saved 50 + dollars!

Tip : To do a deep condition at home.Apply conditioner to wet hair, place a plastic bag on the head, covering all of the hair, then wet a towel with hot water, wring out the water, and wrap around the head.

To get the towel warmer, you can place towel in the microwave for a few seconds.Don't over heat the towel.Let the towel sit for at least 15 minutes on the head.Rinse conditioner out, and style your hair with an easy style.

This home remedy works just as well as sitting under the dryer for a deep condition at the salon. The only  difference is this way is free. lol.
Hope you enjoyed the tip ! Send me a message, and let me know if  you tried it,and did this idea work for you.

Beautiful curls without using heat

We all want those beautiful spiral, wavy, beach wave, loose wave curls. No matter if we have long, medium or short hair.We want them. These type of curls are so popular, and they look fabulous. They can change your look in an instant,You will look an feel like a celebrity with out the cost.We use a lot of heat to get these fabulous curls, which can damage your hair.

We as women will try almost anything to look and feel like a million bucks when it comes to our hair. So we have to protect it from being damaged.A lot of my friends will ask me to curl there hair, because they love the fact that no heat it used, and they do not have the technique mastered to do it there self. lol.
I use pin curls to get that spiral, or wavy look that they want.No one would ever know that they are pin curls, because they look as good,if not better than using the curling iron,in my opinion, if they are done right.Pin curls was one of the ways most curled their hair "back in the day",back then you had to make do with what you had, even before the curling iron was invented.

There are several ways to do no heat curls.I remember watching my mom and grandmother pin curl their hair with bobby pins, and sometimes they would use paper bags, but pin curls is my favorite technique, because it leaves your curls smooth bouncy and beautiful. Now the technique is becoming more and more popular, because no one wants to damage their hair,by using excessive use of heat.I would recommend the pin curl technique to anyone that wants beautiful wavy or spiral curls without heat, and no styling products what so ever! You can also pin curl your hair at night and take them down in the morning.

This technique can take about 2 hours to set, depending on how much hair you have.If your hair is really long and thick, allow more time for the curls to set.Who said you couldn't look like a celebrity !When you wear these curls you are a celebrity!Practice the technique from my instructions, or watch my No heat curls video's, part 1 and 2 on you tube.Once you have mastered the technique. You will throw away your curling iron.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Comb hair the way your going to style it.The hair  is parted on the left side of the picture below .Lightly spray hair with water.Comb hair out smooth and tangle free.Use a rat tail comb to grab 1/2 in pieces.Comb piece smooth,Staring at the root, wrapping the 1/2 in piece of hair around your finger to the end semi loose. Now while holding the hair in place.Slide the hair off your finger and hold with clip(for pin curls) If the hair does not not slide off your finger easily, the wrap is too tight.Repeat step to finish the whole head.Allow 2 hours for curls to dry. For longer thicker hair allow more time.

ITEMS NEEDED :
Rat tail comb
Water bottle
Pin clips
